Bonding with Lovelle

Gonna miss this naughty babe when her mummy returns from her vacation tomorrow. During this 10 days with her as a role of an aunt has become a routine for me & I've grown so attached to her. Checking her from morning to night, carrying her & patting her to sleep, making sure that she sleeps well. Changing shifts with Grandma, taking turns to look after this naughty babe. The moment I woke up from my sleep, the first thing I would do is to walk out of my room and look for her. This little princess of ours has indeed liven up our house with her excited & happy screams during play time, cranky cries, hungry cries, attention craving cries to be carried, adorable big smiles that melt our hearts during chat time, and her superb acting skill when she pretends to be sleepy so that she gets to be carried & rocked to sleep but end up with big big eyes looking innocently at us. Will definitely be missing her noise till the end of the month. (:

Looking after her has made me realize it's indeed not an easy task to look after a baby (feeding her every 3 hours, change diapers, bathe her, attend to her needs, etc.). But watching her growing healthily, being happy is what all parents would wish for for their child. All the exhaustion that you had will naturally go away. And during this journey with your child, you will graudally learn & begin to appreciate your parents more for all the efforts they have done looking after you.

So, start showing your appreciation to your parents, show them your love to them & spend as much time as you can if you have not. Don't regret when it's too late.
